THE EXCAVATION OF THE ROMAN CITY, 2010. 2010’s campaign for terrestrial archaeology will be taking place in the urban settlement at the Roman city of Sanisera (123 B.C. – 600 A.D.), in which we expect to find housing, streets and buildings. More information on the EXCAVATION OF THE ROMAN CITY [+]

Alumnos excavandoEXCAVATION OF THE NECROPOLIS 2010. The Roman city of Sanisera is surrounded by several necropolis/ cemeteries. For 2010, we will be excavating one of them, dated to the Early Empire (27 B.C. -235 A.D.). More information can be found in EXCAVATION OF THE NECROPOLIS [+]

Alumnos excavandoTHE ROMAN CITY & NECROPOLIS DIG 2010. The Cape of Cavalleria Ecomuseum in Menorca, Spain, has scheduled for 2010, the excavation of Sanisera: The Roman City and Necropolis. The occupation of the city began in 123 BC and lasted until 650 AD. Participants will excavate both areas of the site, dedicating one half of the session to each area.
