The Ecomuseum de Cap de Cavalleria is an institution welcoming visitors to the Cavalleria area and the Sanitja harbour. In the Santa Teresa building there is an exhibition room where the public finds out about the natural and cultural heritage in the northernmost territory of the island of Minorca .
The visitor of the Ecomuseum receives concise general information on the territory in different ways: audiovisuals, models, sets, and the exhibition of archaeological materials from the excavations carried out in the harbour of Sanitja . The exhibition has been translated in six languages: Catalan, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
The exhibition is continued indicating the most important points of the territory as far as natural values and cultural. It talks about so that the visitor can continue with the free visit of the outer zone. Initiating his itinerary by means of the guide "7 routes" having like reference the located viewpoint to few meters of the exit of the museum and that she serves as complement the visit of the exhibition hall.
Also, at the Ecomuseum's reception the visitor can find information about other cultural offers in the island of Minorca : shows, archaeological visits, museums, interesting places, gastronomy, ...

Every day in April, May, June and October: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. July, August and September 10:00 am – 8:30 pm .
• General Ticket Price: 3 € for those over 8 years old. Guided visits for school groups and/or other groups with reduced price.
